Rod Mehrtens

Rod Mehrtens is the Managing director of Mehrtens Holdings Pty Ltd Trading as Mehrtens Underpinning and Construction.
He has built up a successful Underpinning and Construction company over the past 35 years; working in both in South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
Rod Mehrtens is widely respected in the Industry and as many Structural Engineers have mentioned, he is the preferred Underpinning Contractor throughout South East Queensland and Northern NSW. Rod Mehrtens is a member of the Master Builders Association and holds an open Queensland Builders Licence and a NSW Builders Licence.During his many years in this industry, Rod Mehrtens has completed several jobs for the Building Services Authority, Gold Coast City Council, NSW Fair Trading, Q Build and a large number of commercial and residential properties. He has also been on the tender panel for the Building Services Authority for the past 23 years.

 

Beverley Mehrtens

Beverley Mehrtens is also a director of Mehrtens Underpinning and Construction. She is in charge of the marketing and advertising of the business. She has had many years experience working in the construction industry and possesses many skills in these area.

Harvie Mehrtens

Harvie Mehrtens is the Construction Manager and Estimator for Mehrtens Underpinning and Construction.
Harvie has been working for Mehrtens Underpinning and Construction for over 12 years.  He is a Licensed Builder and Carpenter, specialising in Underpinning, Rectification and Construction work. He has also worked along side a number of structural engineers on small and large projects throughout Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
Over the last 13 years, Harvie has completed several courses including his certificate IV in Building CNBU1012, Certificate III in Construction Carpentry, studies in Reinforced concrete and form work NFF3113, Building Quantities and Estimating ABC076, Business Management for Building Industry ABC091, Building Site Supervision ABC082 and Residential Site Safety ABC102A. He also holds a Certificate in Engineering Construction CN088.
During his many years working with Mehrtens Underpinning and Construction he has supervised and managed work for the Gold Coast City Council, NSW Fair Trading, Q Build and a number of large commercial and residential properties. 

 

Chrystal Hunter (nee Mehrtens)

Chrystal Hunter is the company's' Bookkeeper and Office manager. She has completed several management courses and is currently continuing with further studies. Chrystal has been working with Mehrtens Underpinning for the past four years, bringing with her many years of experience in managing small businesses.
